A unique kind of roadshow for women with ovarian cancer is hitting Birmingham on
10 December for the first time. An open invitation to attend the free event is being extended by the charity, Target Ovarian Cancer, to women in the Midlands who have had experience of ovarian cancer. click here for details
Designed as a ‘feel-good’ and advice day, the free event takes place at the University of Birmingham Conference Facility from 10am to 4pm.
The programme includes:
· ‘Introduction to Aromatherapy’ with Louise Heath
· ‘Getting the most out of local services’ session with local Midlands nurses
· A ‘Look Good…Feel Better’ beauty tips with make-overs
· ‘Making the Most of Me Time’ workshop with therapist, Philippa Carr
· Sex and cancer discussion with Clinical Psychologist, Dr Darja Brandenburg
