Stafford District Voluntary Services

The Volunteer Centre Stafford is part of Stafford District Voluntary Services.

We are members of Volunteering England, and have once again achieved the nationally recognised Quality Standard and we use the branding.

The Centre is also a member of the SCIO Staffordshire Volunteer Centre Network, which brings together nine Centres across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent to ensure we deliver a high quality and consistent service across the area.

What do we do?

• We offer ongoing advice, support and information to both existing and new volunteers to ensure they find the right placement for them and benefit from their voluntary experience.
• We match potential volunteers to organisations looking to recruit volunteers to support their service delivery.
• We provide good practice advice on the management of volunteers to organisations, through one-to-one appointments and through a quarterly Volunteer Coordinators' Forum: "Volunteer Matters".
• We offer direct access to "v-involved" (for young people aged 16-25) from the Centre in Stafford.

Who do we work with?

The Centre offers a confidential and free service across Stafford Borough to organisations who involve volunteers in their work and individuals wishing to volunteer in the local community. Organisations can be from the Voluntary and Community, Public or Private sectors. We welcome enquiries from anyone within Stafford Borough or beyond who wants to find out more about volunteering.
